Samchi began operations with the first Samchi Telecom shop along Koinange Street, Nairobi in the year 2000. Samchi gradually and consistently grew on a solid foundation to have a countrywide network of shops and has emerged to be one of the leading Safaricom Dealers in the country.
Through a focused approach the company has diversified, as a growth strategy into various sectors by tapping into the benefits of linkages. The founders have made deliberate efforts into creating an ecosystem in which her ventures feed each other. The diverse ventures form what is now referred to as the Samchi Group.

ABOUT THE NAME SAMCHI & OUR VALUES
There is great history behind the name SAMCHI
Samchi is a combination of the first 3 letters of the two children of the founder Madam Esther Muchemi. The names Sam and Ciru are coined to form SAMCHI.
- The name SAMCHI denotes succession.
Sam and Ciru(short for Wanjiru) sends out a message of respect and defines order to the children.
